The wildest and most action packed 5KM Charity Obstacle Race in conjunction with World Wildlife Day on 3rd of March to raise awareness of endangered animals and plants, and ways to fight against wildlife crime. This event was held on 9/4(Sat) from 6.00a.m. to 12.00p.m. at University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. The registration was opened to public and UNMC students and staffs. We managed to obtain more than 120 participants to fight wildlife crime with us and successfully raised RM2,318.30. All the funds were donated to World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Participant played the role of the animal would have to use speed, strategy and strength to escape from the hunters and to get through the 8 obstacle courses. If participants finish without any life stickers left, this means the hunters have successfully captured the animals and participants will not be eligible for awards. This concept was used to raise the awareness of endangered species in our earth which were hunted by humans.

Moreover, this event was sponsored by FUJIFILM MALAYSIA, Eco Ventures, ZALORA, Cert Leaf, Sun Paper Bags, Esping Corporation. With the support from these sponsors, we managed to highlight our event with great prizes for lucky draw and winners. Besides, all the participants enjoyed taking Instax Photo sponsored by Fujifilm Malaysia.

The event could be said was a successful event overall. All the participants including the committees and the volunteers enjoyed spending their Saturday morning by attending this meaningful event. They also gave Nature Club positive feedback for this event.
